Updates on the EcoFaith Recovery Internship Program

Hello friends, spiritual leaders, and movement journeyers!
We wanted to give you an update on what is going on with our very exciting internship program and cohort model. Our Internship Coordinator, Sarah Holst, is due to have a baby any day now. In light of this season of new life, and because we are now on year seven of supporting EcoFaith Recovery Internships (can you believe it?), we have decided to take a Sabbath Year (engaging Practice #7) to reflect and evaluate on the internship program. We will be engaging in a listening season with former interns as well as asking questions about how we will best support and equip future interns to be spiritually grounded, relational, movement leaders going forward. We will begin advertising in January 2019 for applicants for the next Intern Cohort, with an application deadline in March 2019. The internship will begin in April 2019, with a Weekend Institute in June 2019 in Duluth, Minnesota. Please let folks ages 20-35 (that’s right, our internship program is now available for adults through 35 years of age!) know about this exciting opportunity so that they can start planning. Like in the two years past, this intern group will be geographically diverse, so folks are encouraged to apply from anywhere!

In the meantime, if you are someone who is interested in an internship and are anxious to begin engaging the Practices for Awakening Leadership among EcoFaith’s community of spiritual leaders, we encourage you to reach out (by yourself, with a partner, or a group) to explore EcoFaith Recovery’s coaching model.
