Hi EcoFaith friends,

It was great seeing many of you this past Saturday. Our meeting was really motivational, as was the Frontline Communities event afterwards.
We are called to act together (practice 5) to fill the courtroom at the upcoming PCEF hearing on Friday, April 20. The campaign reports that there are currently 33 people signed up to attend the hearing. We need 50 attendees to show community-wide support for PCEF by filling the room.

Please see the invitation below and fill out the RSVP form (here) if you’re able to attend. Arrive by 1 pm to get through security and seated in the courtroom by 1:30.

I hope to see you there!
Scott
Fill the Room! Let’s show Judge Ben Souede (pronounced “swayed”) that the Portland Clean Energy Fund is ready to go.
WHENFriday, April 20th, 1:00pm (starts at 1:30pm, arrive early to get through security)
WHERE: Multnomah County Courthouse (1021 SW 4th Ave, Portland, room TBA)
INFO: The Portland Clean Energy Fund has been filed with the City, and now we need Judge Souede to rule that our initiative is good to go. The sooner we receive a positive ruling, the sooner we can start gathering signatures. This is a court hearing, so we’ll display a silent show of power by wearing green to demonstrate wide community support for the Portland Clean Energy Fund.

Please note: this is not an opportunity for public comment and attendees will need to respect court conduct by remaining silent during the proceedings.
