Monthly All-EcoFaith National Zoom Gathering
We are beginning monthly Zoom webcam meetings grounded in the Practices for Awakening Leadership for all who’ve been looking for a place to claim their identity as a Leader in Ecofaith Recovery and begin to organize their communities to take public action.
EcoFaith Recovery internships have allowed young adults and now seminary interns to engage The Practices alongside a cohort of other EcoFaith interns regularly while engaging in a campaign in their faith communities. Until 2019 this was only available for interns and those regularly involved in EcoFaith Recovery initiatives; there was no place to build a Practices-centered community, especially for people across the country who don’t have an EcoFaith Recovery hub where they are.
This gathering will help you learn how to engage The Practices and enable faith-based people from across the country to share what they are learning with one another and even use Zoom break-out rooms to have one-to-one conversations during those meetings as part of a Practice #2. Anyone near or far from Portland will find here a monthly opportunity to meet up with others and restore one another’s hope while offering mutual mentoring in leadership development and efforts to organize communities of faith.
