- Voter guide slide deck– At the request of a couple of IPL supporters, I’ve created a slide deck to assist in congregation voter guide discussions.
- EMO will have a voter’s guide for Oregon ballot measures that we can add when it’s ready
- Vote Tripling strategy with a 3-tiered approach:
- A) will you pledge to vote?
- B) will you pledge to remind 3 friends to vote?
- C) will you invite 10 of your friends to remind 3 of their friends to vote?
IPL: Volunteer with the Faith Climate Justice Voter Campaign (from home)
The 2020 election will set the nation’s course on climate change. That’s why Interfaith Power & Light is mobilizing people of faith to vote with climate and Creation in mind this year with the Faith Climate Justice Voter Campaign. This is a national campaign but has a major focus in 7 states- New Hampshire, Virginia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Arizona.
Don’t live in one of those 7 states? You can plug into Campaign volunteer efforts in those states remotely!
The Faith Climate Voter Campaign is reaching out to IPL supporters, IPL congregations, and people of faith (in a socially distanced way) to encourage them to get more involved and ensure they vote in November. You could help us text and call them through online platforms.
If you or your congregation is interested in volunteering to help the Campaign in one of the 7 states fill out this form and the Campaign will plug you into volunteer activities you can help with.
Don’t forget to also ask people in your community to take the Faith Climate Voter Pledge!
